Genetically modified food tag:depressioncanbefun.com,2011:index.php/forums/viewthread/.306 2011-02-21T16:39:32Z Nina There’s another headline focusing on genetically modified foods entering the food chain this week.  Breakfast cereals, including corn flakes, bread and snacks are under threat after the US authorities approved the growing of a new GM maize.  Once the crop is grown on a large scale in the US, there is every chance it will become mixed with food standard corn and be exported around the world, including the UK.

Personally I find this quite alarming and wonder how other people feel about this subject?

Dietary advice from GPs tag:depressioncanbefun.com,2011:index.php/forums/viewthread/.305 2011-02-21T16:22:22Z Nina We visit our GP when we feel unwell.  We trust the advice they give us and will generally take the pills and potions offered to us because we believe that he, or she, has our best interest at heart.  However, not many of us are aware that simple dietary changes can be beneficial to our health without always resorting to medication.  How often does a GP ask you about your diet, or offer dietary advice before picking up a prescription pad?
