I have just signed up for a sponsered night walk and lost over a stone in weight. This time last year I was in the darkest place possible and after almost 3 weeks off work, councelling and medication this is the real me coming out.
I now take photographs, write poetry and even knit.

It has not been easy and I still have days but positivity is more prominent than negitivity.
There is light at the end of the tunnel if I can do it there is hope for us all. smile xx

What a great post and how great to hear you doing so well.  That is such great news.  Thank you so much for letting us know and giving everyone hope.  You are very inspiring Aprille.  I do hope that you are proud of yourself and have been praising yourself in whatever way works for you to keep you inspired and moving forward.  Good luck with that night walk!  Are carrots featuring heavily in your diet so you can see on your night walk?!  Helen

Oh my gosh what a beautiful post Aprille Xxx Thank you for inspiring me ...I love knitting and walking ...I get very chilled when I knit ..I must get back to the gym and go spinning again that used to uplift my mood. Thank you little reminders from beautiful people like you ..remind me what works and I should keep up my passions and not slip into the routines of others and pleasing others I follow their passions their dreams and not my own. Being a mum it is very easy to not to put my passions first ...I have a friend and she said she always put her sports before anything else in her life and her life strives around her sport. Her father is a famous footballer so I see her passion…part of her fathers strength ..and I respect her belief ..I like what she is saying..if I could take some of that advice..say 30 mins a day..perhaps I could start living the life of my dreams..babysteps of my passion until it evolves into my reality like you have done Aprille..you amazing beautiful woman making a difference you decided to move forward one time a day and you have traveled sooooooooo far and made so much progress..what a profoundly incredibly result. You are incredible Xxx hug X

I was taught to crochet as a child I went to boarding school at seven years old..the nuns at school taught us to crochet and sew ..sadly not to knit and cook..They used to take us on these amazing sunday walks across the south downs and along the seaside. I did a three legged sponsored walk when I was 9 years old….10 ten times around Fontwell race track..I remember the last three miles I had to carry my friend who was strapped to me..gosh what a memory !!! she was a heavy rag doll bless her ...Love your attitude ...3 miles is alot more than I have done recently that is far if I had to walk it. ....your amazing..better to do than not do anything at all. ..i havent walked for ages..I love walking gosh your inspiring me again ..hug X Alot of people apparently give up because they bite off more than they can chew..your a wise woman..and the doing puts the WOW in you Woman Of Worth XXx wow and clarinet gosh beautiful sound…I wished I had played an instrument. I was just thinking the other day about the piano or the guitar…the nuns did write home and say to my parents your wasting our time and your money on my guitar and piano lessons…However some of us have different sized steps to get the same destination..time is always on my side whats the rush..I’ll learn when I am ninety ...said ms tortoise to the hare…I don’t wanna go rushing and give myself a bad hair day !!! Xxx
