I also got an appointment through to see the counsellor at work, it’s in 2 weeks, I’ve had counselling before so I know how difficult it is but hopefully it’ll be worth it and I can work through a few things.

Somebody suggested I read the lyrics of the song the night will always win…Elbow They are very beautiful lyrics. It reminded me of when I am not being able to sleep how things go over and over in my mind at night and in the morning everything seems different. I posted the lyrics because after a good nights sleep everything seems so much better in the morning. As time goes on with more sleeps the better I became and better and better. Xx

I’m with Chloe on that, well done for going out!  I always find that the things I least feel like doing when I’m really down have the most benefits.  Typical isn’t it!  I too am pleased that you have some therapy coming soon.  If you hit it off with your counsellor it can be something you actually look forward to and get progress quicker than you expect and the difficult bits seem less so.  Here’s wishing and looking forward to that for you Gems.  I do hope the sun is helping you to feel a bit better.  The sun is proven to lift us.  It works for me if I actually force myself out there even if it’s just to drink a cuppa out there.  Take care Gems.  Helen

Chloe, I feel sure you could have your pick of any job and employers will be fighting over you so I would say make sure you go for and take the one YOU want and works for you this time.  You are such a special and wise lady.  Your life is about to get lovelier too.  I feel sure about that.  I hope you and your daughter are having a lovely weekend in the sun. Hi Paul, I hope you’re doing well and things have improved for you since the last time I was on here a couple of years ago. Your work sounds like it’s keeping you busy but it sounds like fun!
Hope everyone else is ok and enjoying the nice weather, I love how the sunshine can lift your mood.
