Dear Chloe,  I don’t know what’s happening to the emails you are sending,  I only actually had one.
I thought we might be losing touch with each other - I do hope not.  So I’ve come back to the forum.
Just returned home from our few days in Bath, had a lovely break, the weather was very warm,
incredible for the end of October.
The roads were quite busy which is a bit stressful at times especially when a Stobarts lorry was coming towards us, I thought we would all be squashed.
Did some shopping (of course), very nice meals, Italian etc. and one evening, fish and chips with mushy peas. (Probably quite unhealthy!)
On the way home we stopped in a place called Street (in Somerset) which has a shopping village - it was my friend’s suggestion, she had been before,  there were dozens of outlet shops, I was very interested in some lightweight suitcases but we wouldn’t have had space in the boot for them,  so maybe another trip there will be needed…
How are you doing,  is your daughter dressing up for Hallowe’en and having pumpkins.  The children here seem to be very excited about it all,  what a lovely week they have had for half term.
Have you finished the shaving of the sheep yet ?
Sorry this is all a bit rushed.  Look forward to hearing from you,  luv j x

Yes we had a wonderful time Xx so glad to hear from you Xx I am not sure where my emails are going how sad. I have sent 4 or 5 now what a shame :0( The sheep have all been sorted and have the most beautiful wooley coats they are gorgeous and so soft and thick. Did you know you can’t shoot a sheep, a military man told me the bullet gets tangled in the wool and apparently bullet proof jackets are made of a similar concept whereby the bullet twists and is lodge and stopped. I am feeling a bit under the weather today so I am going to go and rest Xxx speak soon Xx

Hello, Chloe,
So pleased to hear from you again.  We’ll never know the mystery of the emails.
I did not know that about the wool protecting the sheep,  I do like getting to know odd things like this.
Now that half term is over,  I expect you’ll be getting back to normal.
The youngsters here did all seem to have a good time on Saturday, dressing up as ghosts, witches etc.
We went out for dinner and even the waitresses wore witches hats and had hung spooky things around the pub.  The next event will be Guy Fawkes’ night.  There is usually a big firework display in the town which is quite spectacular, and a lot of families go to watch.  Are your animals frightened by the noise?
Our little dog never used to worry but I know some of them are terrified.
I hope you feel better after your rest today.
luv j x

Hi everyone, I always moan on the site so I wanted to share something good.  I don’t have the confidence to get out of my job and seem to fear everything these days but this weekend we went to the coast for the weekend.  I rarely get two days off together being in retail.  I had a fantastic time and have come back feeling really good.  It really has made me think that I have to make an effort to do nice stuff that make life fun.  I really didn’t think that it would make to so much difference to how I feel.  We didn’t spend loads of money either which was good too as I always stress about money.  I’m sure it’s the main reason I get so stressed about work.  You can have good times with special people and it doesn’t have to cost anything.  I do wish the same feeling I have today for you all. All the best.  Will

Take us there, what was it like ? I am so glad you can see how much fun you can have with special people, I find that too. I love a cheap holiday, have you ever flown easy jet, we all flew to scotland and it was brill and cost peanuts. I love scotland it is so beautiful up there and green full of warm friendly people. Hello my beautiful friend Jean Xx yes the little people looked excellent dressed up in their little outfits, they collected so many sweets it was begging !!! The little people had sacks of sweets, the people around here are so generous and it made me realise how much love and kindness there is Xx people coming to the door laughing at the kids and being sooooo generous and kind to them. We are having a bonfire party there are no fireworks because of the animals just sparklers and lumi sticks. Hopefully the little people will enjoy watching the fire and playing in the garden while the adults chat and have a get together. My dog does get upset by fireworks however he has gone deaf with age so this year he should be ok. A vet told a friend to give her dog calpol to calm it down during the fireworks. I used to give the dog bachs flower remedies. You sound like you have alot of fun and get out alot XXX are you out this weekend ? I am feeling better now just needed to catch up after half term ha ha. I just felt weak and tired. I have got back on my tread mill to get my energy back and it’s working ha ha sounds crazy but the exercise gives me energy. Mind you when I feel very very tired I know I have to rest. Not long till christmas, I have started my christmas shopping and started to wrap presents. I guess it’s my kaizen stress free wrapping (helens baby steps)stops me being overwhelmed and getting sad ha ha Xxx Goodness knows where my emails went. Are you still using a hotmail account ? It might be your email address has changed :0) XXXXXHUGS XX

Hello, Chloe,  what a lot of fun you had at Halloween and more to look forward to tomorrow with the sparkers etc. I hope the weather keeps dry for evening.
I am glad you are feeling better,  you just have to do what you can whilst you are feeling exhausted.
We have had some really heavy rain this afternoon - I was working in the shop and the people came in to find shelter.  They tend to buy while they are inside, so there are advantages !
I always feel so ashamed when you talk about your treadmill and power walking, I’m not even doing much gardening now.  (But I am wondering whether to have a bicycle, my son offered to lend me his daughter’s to start with,  to find out if I can still ride it - but it seems to be on a back burner at present.)
I have bought one Christmas present so far but this evening I typed all the addresses on labels ready to stick on the envelopes when I have bought the cards. (My first baby step)
I wonder if the Royal mail will be back to work by then, otherwise we won’t be able to send them in time.
The weeks seem to be whizzing by. We go on holiday in a couple of weeks then it will be December!
The couple going to Spain with us are coming to supper on Friday evening.  They are special people -
I loved the letter from Will - really uplifting for everyone who reads this site.  Thank you Will.
Just gone midnight, so I should be going to bed.  Speak to you soon, luv j x
