Hi all,
I have been lurking for a little while…not really sure what to say!
Have just received my first lot of VEGEPA having read all of the testimonials on them wanted to give them a go.  I am not on antidepressants at the moment as I just felt they were not doing anything but can feel myself living in my bubble again and want to try something…
Any way I will let you know how I get on…
I look forward to chatting with you

Hello Bensma, I’m glad you’ve come on to to talk to us.  Whilst I understand that antidepressants work well for some people and they can be an essential crutch for people until they feel strong enough to be receptive to talking therapy, I took them for years and apart from feeling numb and the side-effects I never really felt that they helped my depression.
After 10 years on them and begging my psychiatrist to take me off them, he asked me to make sure I took a good omega every day.  That’s how I discovered Vegepa.  I really hope that they make the difference to you that they have made to me.  I still take them every day and if I’m travelling which I do a lot, it’s the supplement that I always take with me.
Lack of omegas has been linked to depression, anxiety and crime.  They are called essential fats for a reason.  We need them and we don’t get enough of them in our modern diets. megass and particularly EPA has been proven to help lift mood.
Do let us know how you get on or even before you feel a difference.  We’re always here.  I felt the effect very soon after starting to take them but not everyone’s the same so be patient if it takes a while longer.
Best wishes, Helen

Welcome!  The effects of taking Vegepa, as Helen says, differs from person to person.  It takes about 8 weeks for levels of EPA to stabilise, and many of the studies suggest 3 months for effects to become apparent.  I can’t express enough about the importance of diet of diet on mood, and If you need any advice on what to include/what to avoid do please ask! We are hear to help and support.  Warm wishes Nina
