Hello.

The sun has just broken through the clouds here, so it looks like it is going to be another strangely sunny day for the time of year! How is everyone this morning? So far, apart fro my usual aches and pains, I think I am OK. I am working at home a lot at the moment, which is nice because it gives me a chance to go with my husband when he takes the dog for a walk. My husband suffers from mental health problems and is unable to work, so he is always home when I am working at home. We have managed to sort out a nice routine that seems to work for him and for me so that is good.

I have to write a letter of complaint to my doctor’s practice this morning, which I am not looking forward to doing - not for me but on behalf of my husband. It’s a long story but the end result is that what has happened has been bad for him, and I am not happy about it. I am not very good at dealing with complaints face to face, much better at writing, so I will do that later this morning.

Take care
Glynis

Good Morning to you too Glynis,

I’m sorry you feel you need to complain about you GP. If it helps, If you Google “how to complain” there are several sites with sample complaint letters that might make the task slightly easier for you.

Have a wonderful day with your husband.

Dear Glynis, hmm I’m not good with confrontation either but you’re doing it for someone you love.  It always helps me if I have to do it for someone else. I’m sure you’ll feel better and relieved once you’ve done it.  It always helps me to get things done that I’m not looking forward to if I promise myself a reward of a cappuccino after I’ve done it so then I do have something to look forward to.  I hope you enjoy or have enjoyed your walk with your husband and your dog in the beautiful sunshine today.  Have a lovely weekend. Helen
