Thanks for your advice what an excellent phenomenon and thank you for the advice about the dog because my husband guessed they would be a great breed yet needed an expert oppinion to be sure and that is wonderful Xx Yes it isn’t feeling xmasssy for me at the moment I keep getting nostalgic feelings from being a child and having a barbie or a Cindy doll. I saw on the grumpy old women programme they said our mothers had it easy because we were satisfied with one toy. I wish my daughter thought like that yet I only have myself to blame I guess. I think the greatest gift anybody can give a child is there time time to play with them take them to the park and read with them. I found that children thrieve on the attention and it doesn’t make them spoilt it makes them wise cute and sincere. I really respected Kayfer because she took her son out even when she was feeling very ill, I admired her alot for that Xx Thank you you are reminding me again xXXX Yes when I sold gym membership people used to say I haven’t got the time. An NLP therapist said people have to prioritise and let certain other things go and make TIME for the positives and give things up. You have reminded me time and time again what is important to me and reminded me to make time it has turned my life around and kept me out of the shops and made me more pro active and more positive. It s great to have a mentor and I don’t think you realise your a great role model to know and have around THANK YOU Brencoot. Thank you for all your TIME patience and energy and the greatest gift of listening to me ha ha and giving me your feedback and oppinion which I have benefited greatly from. A friends husband came to visit a couple of weeks ago and started to look at his watch as soon as I started to speak ha ha. I had listened to him and when it was my time to talk it was his time to leave ah laugh. I have found if I want somebody to stop talking, I start talking about myself and it soon makes people realise its time to go. I have talked about myself constantly on here, I feel very conscious of that. I couldn’t offer advice because what fixed it for me doesn’t necessarily work for somebody else life coaching taught me that and yet gaining empathy is impossible how could I know how somebody is feeling so I thought if I share with others my story and own it,  so I own my worries and hopefully others might tell me theirs and make me feel more human and realise I am not perfect and thats ok and like Helen says if it keeps you up at night you might need to talk about it. Thank you for being an inspiration a great friend and above all a great LISTENER XXX your WONDERFUL XXX Have you bought your sisters xmas presents yet ? I am feeling really worried I have bought all the wrong stuff it felt great at the time in the shop yet now I have got it all back I am thinking will they like it ?????? It is really horrid looking at how much I have spent too, was it a waste ???? I shall tell you the day after boxing day XXx I needed to say it has been a priceless honour for me to have interacted with the most amazing wonderful people who have the most amazing wonderful lives and shared their time and lives with me Xx what a priceless gift XX THANK YOU XX

At the end of the film there were listed references and I noted this one ‘‘Gesundheit Good Health is a laughing matter’’ by Hunter Dohert Adams with Maureen Mylander. I am going to see if I can find it on Amazon Xx thought I would share that with you Xx Remember laughter is the greatest gift Xx

Hello Chloe, how are you? Sorry for my late reply, but I have been having a bit of a nightmare over the last week or so and not really seeing any end to it, so have been tied up with that.

Your comment about that person checking their watch as soon as you started talking made me chuckle cos it often amazes me how people seem to be completely unaware of their actions or how their actions make other people feel. I think so many people are just so wrapped up in their own little bubble that they don’t realise what they are doing/saying, actually probably don’t even care.

You say that other people have done a lot to help you on this site, but I think you only have to look at the number of posts and replies that you have made to other people, and therefore the amount of time that you have spent on other people to realise that you give more and do more for others than maybe even you yourself realise, and you should give yourself a pat on the back for that. Or even better, give yourself a proper treat, be it food or clothes or whatever you like!

Yep, presents all sorted for sisters, wife, brother-in-laws and nephew. Everybody is getting very very boring presents, but I don’t really care cos I wanted to get presents that I could guarantee would be used, and I’m 100% these presents will be used, and therefore probably appreciated, which I think kinda makes up for the boring-factor. I hope everyone like what you got them.

Well, I better get on cos I’ve got a few things I should do. I hope you are OK and I hope that you have a wonderful Xmas, and I’m looking forward to hearing about your Xmas when you come back on after Boxing Day.

Take it easy.

Hello Brencoot Xx Yes I made sure everybody got a useful present Xx I got all the kids a towel, the kids seem to love a nice towel for swimming or bath time and they cost under £6 at Asda some were as little as £2 (High School Musical). Yes I equally noticed how much time you have for everybody too Xx we see what we are in others Xx I felt like the red queen (alice in Wonderfland) myself this holiday. Ours is not to reason why, ours is but to do and try (attempt our bests) and yes you have been such a wonderful companion on this site, thank you you have helped me so much, its not all altruistic. I am truly glad I joined, it has been an amazing journey through 2009. I have been attempting I should never say try (try is a word that sets one up for failure) but I could say try because I have failed to make an hypnosis tape for a very dear friend, the first time my daughter had the telly so loud I could not concentrate, then I had a try! in the morning and my dog decided he would sing, he is deaf and moans, then the final time I forgot to switch the microphone on. Anyway I now know the script off by heart in my head so I could do it blind fold, I hope they enjoy my final copy. Sadly I am not brilliant with audacity and therefore I have to do a fresh run each and every time. I shall make sure they listen to it now when I lay on all the guilt ha ha. We are off to a party tonight. Can you think of another word for try , ours is not to reason why ours is but to do and ? I loved Jeans do and buy !! for the shoppers in us. MERRY MERRY BEAUTIFUL MERRY XMAS heres to another FUN year Xx Depression Can Be Fun Xx thank you you wonderful wonderful carer XXX Yes it made me laugh too when he looked at his watch Xx he is a nice guy and my husband and I laugh at others ways Xx My husband always says people do not realise another person can see where their eyes are going, like at the swimming pool the girls have to have a look at eachothers bodies, in a nice way, us woman are funny. I watch people look at other people and look me up and down and then I remind myself not to do it, yet I do Xx I need to see if I fit in, do we match, better than sniffing bottoms I guess so to be crude Xx ahhh Have a great time Xx I am glad you got your shopping done and shall bubble and squeak boxing day XXX I have bought myself a pair of Barbour wellie boots yet I need to hide them because I bought my husband the same. They were in the Gunwharf outlet 70% off and I just had to have them, I know he’ll love his Xx and they’ll make him chuckle because he wears welly boots every day of his life, accept for when his wellied Xx HAVE A GOOD ONE xX

Hello Chloe, how are you? Did you have a good Xmas? Did everybody appreciate their presents? I hope you had a good one?

Any plans for New Year? I don’t have any special plans? Any New Years Resolutions?

Another word for “try”? Well, you mentioned attempt. I guess “endeavour” is another, but that sounds kind of too hard/grueling, so maybe not a good. “Strive” is maybe a bit different. God, it’s difficult. I’ll have to have a think about that one.#

Well, just a short post this time. I hope all is well with you, and just in case I can’t get on again before, Happy New Year. I hope 2010 will be a happy and healthy year for you and your family.

Was your xmas good ? yes strive is EXCELLENT because it rhymns XXx Xmas was great I am still drawn to the conclusion that it maybe better to give money next year to the youngsters ha ha. I think unless they tell me what they want, I am better giving them the cash because there was a bit of disappointment A friends daughter had the dress on that I had given a mutual friend for xmas ha ha ha. May all your wishes come true thanks for looking out for all of us big brother from one of your greatest fans Xx love me Xx

Hello Chloe, how are you? I’m glad you had a good Xmas, even if you are a bit tired after.

I’m glad your Labrador puppy is turning out nice. I’m not sure I can tell my wife about cos if I do, she’ll want one. I’ll ask her if she has any special tips for house training. I know that consistency is important though, and that if dogs do something wrong, you should say their name, like “Snoop, no!”, cos dogs don’t really recognise English, but they do get to recognise their name and if you say their name after they do something wrong, they may end up seeing that as praise/attention and then do it again and again. Does that make sense?

My Xmas, in fact the whole of last year, especially the end, wasn’t great, but here hoping for a better 2010. Actually, I guess I shouldn’t hope, I should try to do more myself.

Well, hope you are OK. Take care and I’ll be in touch again soon.

Brencoot XxYes Xx my new years resolution is to think positively ie dismiss any bad thoughts. I have been having a go then go crazy ha ha ha gosh are you ok ? I have this resolve of accepting what is and believing in after life and whatever is happening to me its helping me, it helps me don’t knock it ha ha . I was listening to radio 2 today about MCBT and this high earning go getter man was reduced to dispare and panic attacks after an accident. He meditates now every day for at least 5 mins and has CBT, his story was so sad and he has turned it around with strength and courage. Then I was watching that twist of a coin game and this woman said she hoped to win the million because she had a brain tumour and she wanted the money to provide for her children, she lived for the moment and was buzzing. Anyway it got me thinking, what’s new ? me and my thinking ha ha it did it made me realise nothing really matters accept my health mentally and physically. You are an inspiration to us all XXx You can’t go down you are the ship that carries survivors please may whatever it is that is bad for you may it be a small ripple that disapates into a calm serene lake of happiness. May your troubles be a little pebble. Because you are our rock that the nasty waves in all of us crash against and break them up into sensible realistic laughable happy waves. So I hope with all my heart you are ok Xx I hope that its just a run of bad luck and the wrong perception you are adopting and 2010 is your year. The manifesters say we draw what we dwell on so dwell on good things, this may be true yet I believe dwelling on happy thoughts makes me happy and what I wish for well we’ll see, patience is a virtue Xx GOOD LUCK brencoot Xxx sometimes life is just kismet, sometimes it is our making. Having you as my friend on here is great for my morale and I wish I could return the favour HUG Xx I love the advice about the puppy xx THANK YOU xxx I have been giving him little treats when he goes outside and I get up in the night and walk him around outside until he relieves himself its not for long and he’ll be trained and we treat him outside and fuss him and ignore him when he does it in the house just like children ha ha as you said praise attention love and play with them ha ha I guess the puppy is much the same and when you don’t get out of it what you put in it’s kismet or the good stuff is just around the corner XxxThanks xx for being my inspiration if I could give you 5% encouragement you give me you’ll be a very rich man Xx tee hee Xx
