The above is also one of my favourite songs Xx my dad used to play these oldies and the records got passed on to me. I love all the old vinyl 60’s stuff and found the cds on Amazon. I Love Billy Fury yet I can’t play it because it makes me cry it reminds me of my nan who died in her 60’s from lung cancer. She was beautiful with her yellow tinted fringe from smoking…she had the biggest heart of gold ...her house was never empty Xx please cheer up Jim friends, love, happiness, they are all priceless XXx Your the richest man alive Xx have you got something to eat ? Apart from your finger nails XxHug Xx Chloe

Feeding of the Wolves
An elder Cherokee Native American was teaching his grandchildren about life

He said to them ” A fight is going on inside me…..
It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.”

One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt,
resentment, inferiority, lies, pride and superiority.

The other wolf stands for joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness,
benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.

The same fight is going on inside of you and every otherperson too.”

They thought about it for a minute and then one child asked his grandfather,
“which wolf will win ?”

The old Cherokee simply replied…“The one I feed.”

Charley, a new retiree-greeter at Wal-Mart, just couldn’t seem to get to work on time. Every day he was 5, 10, 15 minutes late.
But he was a good worker, really tidy, clean-shaven, sharp minded and a real credit to the company and obviously demonstrating their “Older Person Friendly” policies.
One day the boss called him into the office for a talk.
“Charlie, I have to tell you, I like your work ethic, you do a bang up job, but your being late so often is quite bothersome.”
“Yes, I know boss, and I am working on it.”
‘‘Well good, you are a team player. That’s what I like to hear. It’s odd though your coming in late. I know you’re retired from the Armed Forces.  What did they say if you came in late there?”

‘‘They said, “Good morning Admiral. Can I get your coffee, sir?’‘’

Jim Xxx taken from AOL - Your Future card is Midheaven
Your goal in life is your goal, you are the master or mistress of your own destiny, and you couldn’t afford to let tenacious people or possessive relatives stand in the way of success. You declared your independence and went on to live your own life

There are many lessons to be learned linked with your family, friends, your professional life and your emotions; what you gave out measures what you’ll receive in return. This is the role of karma. You’ve recently completed one important life lesson.

Something came to fruition and you were able to pat yourself on the back for sticking to the program and getting to the end. When one cycle ends, a new one is always poised to begin. Take time to celebrate your success, the ready for the next event.

The never-ending cycle of ups and downs can’t stop. Fortune sometimes deals you a good hand and other times throws you a challenge; it’s how you’ve responded to what the fates have sent you that has led to the current situation. Adapt yourself!

Disruption and collapse could not have been avoided. If you clung on to the past or stood in the way of change it only made matters worse. Whatever was lost, it was for your greater good; now pick up the pieces, move on and create something new.

Thank you Chloe for your kindness. I don’t think my body will cover it somehow ! This is something that always comes back to bite me in the bum and it’s reached crisis point. I spoke to the bank this morning but the couldn’t have been more unhelpful. Yes thanks I do have food in - I get paid in two weeks but it’s all swallowed up as soon as it comes in. I don’t live and extravagent life - I don’t go shopping - I hardly ever go out. I hate living like this - I am 43 and I have a good job - I am not sume student living in a garret but I would be better off begging in the street. I am going to try to sort out a debt management plan as I can’t go on burying my head in the sand. Wish me luck.
Went for a walk this morning and that made me feel better.

heee Heee Xx Jim Xx When I was in my teens as a lab technician in a hospital my friends boyfriends friend needed some money to do a job. He was a builder and he needed the money for materials, he talked me out of my whole months wages of £289 (it early 19eighties !!) he said he would give it back to me as soon as he was paid the following day. Yeah you guessed it….I had my own place and cared for my sister still at college. I had 4 jobs a bar maid a lab technician a cleaner and I worked in a chip shop in the middle of Portsmouth shopping centre on a Saturday. I wrote to my bank manager and he rang my MOTHER !!!!!! oh gosh I was mortified…terrified…and thought the worst. The Lloyds bank manager was soooooooo kind and put a months wages in my account as an overdraft and I paid it off gradually. He told my mother worst stories actually some horrific ....which calmed my mother down and made her see things in their true perespective. That lesson in life taught me a great deal I lost the value of money !!! I don’t respect it and it doesn’t own me I also know how in our culture there is help and support for everybody in debt we just need to find it. Some of my friends have confessed being 48k in debt on credit cards they are still living and life goes on. We live in a debt culture a society whereby debt is a way of living. I can only name a couple of people I know who both have no debt..actually I can think of one more she’s 75 yrs old.My typical friends in their 40 are usually in debt on their credit card ...I am !!! its part of the way people live and how the companies survive because otherwise they would not have any money because you only have to pay when we are in debt to them. Your very very typical xxhugxx I bought my first place using a credit card to pay the fees I was told I was mad….my sister studied economics and they said it was better to buy a washing machine on HP than save for it because of inflation. You have time to sort yourself out thanks to credit. Yet you must consider your quality of life you can’t become a hermit !!! due to lack of funds. Is there anything you could stop !!! p.s I made friends again with the builder who took my money he had got ripped off thousands and had no money he lost his house I sorta thought ah so what about the money ...I felt sorry for him…later in life he threw me the most amazing 21st party…He heard it was my 21st and he and my sister went to the nearest hospital full of nursing staff and pub and said come to my party. I never knew anybody there !!! yet it was the most amazing party ever. He was doing up a an old house which was a shell and made the perfect venue. I got rewarded 10 fold Xx Sometimes when I get myself into a pickle I come out better for it Xx I hope the same happens for you XxChloe

Ah so your spotting butterflies now too Xx My friend got me started about 10 years ago, she is amazingly beautiful and she reminds me of a butterfly. She had a handbag covered in butterflies .....then a friend handed me the CD catching the butterfly to listen to and said that it really really helped them follow their dream and enjoy the moment. Jim since I have known you you have come sooooooooooooo far Xx Your net is full of butterflies and you are very strong and I have tested your strength and your patience and you came through. You are decent and you do deserve some praise for your strengths and your strength of character XxhugXx

Dear Chloe - yes always on the lookout for butterflies ! My brother very kindly gave me some cash to see me through the week - felt terrible taking it but I am so grateful. In truth debt has always scared the hell out of me probably because I never had any yet as soon as I got the flat I was instantly faced with the reality of living on an overdraught and credit cards and keeping everything crossed that the bank wouldn’t pull the plug. It’s a necessity but still no way to live. Your comment about paying your fees on your crdit card made me laugh because my brother once bought a car on his !!!! I guess that on Friday I did what CBT always tells you not to - I catastrophised my situation. Why did I do that - as you say life goes on but faced with the stark reality of only having access to £1.20 I just felt so bad. It was like the final straw. Tomorrow and maybe for a few days I am working at another Court. I am quite looking forward to that because it will give me a change of scene and a chance to meet some new people. Some of the meanies I work with and see every day were really getting me down. As you say I have come a long way but some people never ever give me any credit for that and treat me as though my opinions don’t count or with rudeness and suspicion. The one thing I can never be criticised for is a lack of professionalism or dedication to my job yet other always get the credit. You have always been there at the end of the keyboard and forgiven me my down moods and when I have not always treated you very kindly. Thank you so much. I hope butterflies will always flock to the light and warmth you offer.

Dear Chloe, your poem is SO unbelievably beautiful.  I don’t know what to say apart from thank you which hardly seems enough.  Goodness Chloe, is there no end to your talents.  You’re a poet too.  You moved me to tears.  Thank you.  Your heart is so big and your talents endless.  The world surely is blessed with you in it.  Helen x

Dear Jamie, I am so pleased to hear you feeling better.  I was so concerned when I read your post but couldn’t get to my computer and my phone has been playing up.  I was denied both of my lifelines to technology for 4 days!  So sorry I didn’t get to reply to you sooner.  Thank goodness dear Chloe was at hand.  Isn’t she amazing?  You are too Jamie.  You pulled yourself through again.  I feel sure things will continue to get better for you Jamie.  You are so positive.  I hope that you have a good week working in the different court and hope you can enjoy driving your new car to it!  Thinking of you, Helen.

Sometimes it just sneaks up on you, doesn’t it? You don’t even see it coming. Suddenly and without warning, you’re surrounded by the best friends you’ve ever known. You’re waking up in the mornings just “dying” to get into the day. There’s a lightness in your step and a gleam in your eye. Your thinking is new, your laughter frequent, and you’re drawn to tears whenever you hear happy tales. You’re on a roll, so it’s not like you’re thinking about it, but if you were to think about it, you wouldn’t know what’s gotten into you, nor would you recall just when. You’d only shake your head whenever you thought of how quickly everything can change…

Just something to remember the next time you don’t see something coming.

By the way, you row my oars -

Xxx I love this one XxxX sooooooooo true Xx
