How are you both? I have been selfish. I am not going through a good time at the moment.

I have made a few friends going to support groups.  I have started to go singing Monday mornings.

I realise I am really lonely and what can I do about it? I ask for help because I am not looking forward to christmas.

Dear Paul,  I hope that singing went well this morning.  Sounds like you’re making a big effort to get out and be sociable.  I’m sure you’ll reap the rewards for that Paul even if it doesn’t happen immediately, give it time, it will.
I am so sorry about what you are having to go through at the moment Paul.  They do say that everything happens for a reason don’t they but I have a lot of trouble trying to fathom the reasons for a lot of things that happen in life at the time but in time I have looked back and realised why.  Doesn’t make it any easier at the time though does it?
I can only imagine how you feel about your gorgeous son, Callum.  I feel complete love for my nephew so I can’t imagine the love you must feel for your own child.  Children truly are a gift aren’t they?  If a child can’t make you laugh, not a lot can.  I know that they can be pains too at times but can’t we all?!
One thing I do know Paul it that everything changes.  Nothing can stay the same and I hope that your situation changes for the better very very soon.  Sending you lots of wishes for that.  Best wishes, Helen
