Always Look on the Bright Side of Life
Eric Idle
Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse
When you’re chewing on life’s gristle
Don’t grumble, give a whistle
And this’ll help things turn out for the best
And…

Always look on the bright side of life (whistle)
Always look on the light side of life (whistle)
If life seems jolly rotten
There’s something you’ve forgotten
And that’s to laugh and smile and dance and sing

When you’re feeling in the dumps
Don’t be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that’s the thing
And…

Always look on the bright side of life… (whistle)
Come on!
Always look on the bright side of life… (whistle)

For life is quite absurd
And death’s the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it’s your last chance anyhow

So always look on the bright side of death (whistle)
Just before you draw your terminal breath (whistle)
Life’s a piece of shit
When you look at it

Life’s a laugh and death’s a joke, it’s true
You’ll see it’s all a show
Keep ‘em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you

And always look on the bright side of life
Always look on the right side of life (whistle)
Always look on the bright side of life (whistle)
Always look on the bright side of life (whistle)

Have a nice weekend Xx Chloe

The first song of the day was my lord did trouble me by tom jones….explains my god book ...perhaps it’ll explain brencoots book Xx I have looked the words up on google yet the song has only just been released Tom Jones - Did trouble me. ...the words go my lord will trouble me to keep me on my path ...it sort of explains fate and there isn’t much I can do to change my fate because ...I think if I don’t do what I am told ...the lord sends more trouble to make me do what ever it I need to do…so to stop the trouble ha ha ,...I sort of follow my heart and divorcing my husband is following my heart and my being me is following my heart so….they is something really excellent around the corner wink wink ...:0) Xxx

The Dash

I read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend
He referred to the dates on his tombstone from the beginning ...to the end
He noted that first came his date of birth
and spoke the following date with tears but he said what mattered most of all
was the dash between those years

For that dash represents all the time that he spent alive on earth…
and now only those who loved him know what that little line is worth
For it matters not, how much we own; the cars…the house the cash,
What matters is how we live and love and how we spend our dash.

So think about this long and hard..are there things you’d like to change?
For you never know how much time is left, that can still be rearranged.
If we could just slow down enough to consider what’s true and real,
and always try to understand the way other people feel.

And be less quick to anger, and show appreciation more
and love the people in our lives like we’ve never loved before.
If we treat eachother with respect and more often wear a smile.
Remembering that this speacial dash might only last a little while.

So when your eulogy’s being read with life’s actions to rehash….
would you be proud of the things they say about how you spent your dash ?

Xxx

I love that poem Xx it was read at my friend Jerrys funeral and his favourite song was Jim reeves welcome to my world Xx it was played at his funeral…sorry to sound morbid but Jerry wasn’t morbid he had always look on the bright side of life written on his coffin Xx

WELCOME TO MY WORLD.- Jim Reeves Xx

WELCOME TO MY WORLD
WON’T YOU COME ON IN
MIRACLES I GUESS
STILL HAPPEN NOW AND THEN

STEP INTO MY HEART
LEAVE YOUR CARES BEHIND
WELCOME TO MY WORLD
BUILT WITH YOU IN MIND

KNOCK AND THE DOOR WILL OPEN
SEEK AND YOU WILL FIND
ASK AND YOU WILL BE GIVEN
THE KEY TO THIS WORLD OF MINE

I’LL BE WAITING HERE
WITH MY ARMS UNFURLED
WAITING JUST FOR YOU
WELCOME TO MY WORLD

I guess thats my song for today Xxx missing my boyfriend Xx hug Xx Chloe Xx

When I had really bad depression 12 years ago this song kept me going Xxx
I guess the world is wonderful Xx I guess stuff happens for a good reason Xxx I guess I’ll survive Xx I imagine myself at 50 yrs and I probably be content happy and wiser XxhugXx

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They’re really saying I love you.

I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They’ll learn much more than I’ll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world.
