If there were more Hopes in this world
then I couldn’t see just how really beautiful you are
to me
see because to me your the perfect friend who picks
me up when I feel I am going around the bend

cherish love and adore and watching you
being sad is making them poor
poor that they can not give you back that love
that you show

all they can do is watch from above
in silence watching your pain
not being able to help you again and again
they know you can do it just give them a smile

remember the good times and not be sad

Hello Hope - oh no I am so sorry to hear you like that. You are always so positive. Forgive me but I never heard the start of your story - who did you lose ? You don’t have to tell me and i am sorry my book upset you. How have you injured yourself ? Listen I think we all have times like that - it’s my 43rd birthday tomorrow and i look in the mirror and see this grey badger who is on his own. I haven’t been on here for a bit because have had some stuff to deal with. When I see your posts I think ” Ooh Hope is back - lovely Hope who’s name always gets in the way of me saying ” I hope..” then I have to think of another word ! Ha Ha ! When I picture you, I think of you as a twentyish, cycle riding vivacious studenty redhead with freckles ? That’s what pops into my head when I read your posts. Do stay strong - although when I felt like that - my bed was my best friend. Even now I sometimes succomb to bed at the unsociable hour of 8pm if I have had enough. It doesn’t matter - it does you good.  You have really good friends on here who will look after you and of course you have your wonderful chap who I hope is caring for you whilst you are blue.

Dear Hope, I am so sorry to hear you so down.  You are allowed to feel down sometimes and you have good reason to feel down Hope.  You’ve been feeling the need to be strong for a long time.  Maybe now you need to sit with these feelings and not fight them.  You know what Hope, why don’t you give in to them for a day and stay in bed if you can or have an easier day.  I agree with Jamie, I see you as a young, vibrant 20 something year old.  Your spirit is so strong.  It probably does need recharging.  The fact you say it feels flat is your body telling you it needs a break.  Allow it that.  Rest your mind and body Hope.  If you can’t do it this week, then look forward to it at the weekend if you can.  Listen to what your mind and body are telling you Hope and I’m sure you’ll feel better very soon and your summer is on its way!  Thinking of you.  Helen

Happy Birthday, Jamie!!! You are fabulous. I lost a dear friend this year. We grew up together,and were very very close. I am not taking it very well…it is just so sudden and makes me think what will happen to all of us one day. Death is just so 3-340405-5… Don’t know what happened to me, but somehow I injured my back recently. All these things have made me feel frustrated and old in so many ways.

I got up today, and carried on with some energy. Don’t want to be knocked down by life, I guess… I tried to be the normal me today. Hard to fall asleep at night… Life doesn’t end, does it?

Dear Kelly, I am so very sorry to hear about your sister and the pain you are feeling. I wish I could wave a magic wand and take away your pain.  However grieving is a natural pain that only time will heal Allowi yourself to grieve and be kind to yourself.  I am sure she knew that you loved her dearly.  It is hard for those left behind.  We torture ourselves but you loved your sister.  Although people may not be able to respondwhen they are ill they do know the truth deep down.  Please stop punishing yourself Kelly.  As Chloe says, you have done nothing wrong.  You have lost a sister you loved dearly.  She would want you to remember her fondly and the good times you had together.  She wouldn’t want you to punish yourself.  Take care Kelly.  We are always here.  Thinking of you.  Best wishes, Helen
