PLN Distribusi is in charge of the distribution of Indonesian electrivity energy (distribusi listrik of listrik PLN in Indonesia), a country that consist of more than 13,000 islands. In 2005 listrik Indonesia sold by PLN reached 107,033GWh and distributed to 34,559,000 customers.

In 2011 all publicly accessible informasi PLN and any other informasi listrik is being integrated into one central PLN online website, while previous regional websites remain under their intranet system. Meanwhile, a knowledge repository on teknologi listrik including Indonesia’s electrical standard (SPLN) is also available since late 2008 under the Jendela Distribusi portal.
