We visit our GP when we feel unwell. We trust the advice they give us and will generally take the pills and potions offered to us because we believe that he, or she, has our best interest at heart. However, not many of us are aware that simple dietary changes can be beneficial to our health without always resorting to medication. How often does a GP ask you about your diet, or offer dietary advice before picking up a prescription pad?
