Looks like Hubby could be getting made redundant. we dont know yet and that really is a killer, the waiting -
a)  is he good enough not to made redundant and so he takes a pay cut and we tighten our belts even more so that we choke,

Or

b)  Does he loose his job completely and then look for another job to be made redundant from (last one in, first one out and all that)

Or

c)  Do they keep him, Credit Crunch ends and we all live happily ever after

Well blow me, can I have c please

Life is just full of a’s and b’s
(asses and bast..ds)

I think we’re all worried about it. I know i’m in a negative frame of mind but I can see this going on for some time yet. It makes me feel physically sick. Thankfully we’re not in debt but I’m the only source of income and I just can’t face work right now.

Yes I have heard about the people that make themselves bankrupt and clear their debts - I guess it’s personal pride that stops you. That’s a great quality in your husband.

Let’s hope something starts to move the economy soon.

Nothing wrong with a 4 year old having a paper round - good ethics start young. My 3 year old has just polished my shoes!

I felt I should point out that I’m here because I have been made redundant. On 21st December. And we knew it was coming in the November the year before. Absolutely nothing to do with the the ‘credit crunch’ lol. And I turn 20 in two weeks. I’m not exactly the best person to be giveing advice, but an important thing to remember is that, although it sure as hell feels like it at the time, it really isn’t the be all and end all. It was your job that was made redundant, for whatever reason, NOT YOU.

Keep us posted.
