3 day Psychiatry Conference for service users and professionals

September_Conference_2013_flyer_Final.doc 3 day conference in September that we are holding which aims to bring together both professionals and service users to try to bring about a more collaborative way of working, whereby we can all learn from one another. It comes after a paper written by the Critical Psychiatry Network; Psychiatry Beyond the Current Paradigm, where voices from within psychiatry are seeking change and are beginning to be heard. ‘My Secret Past’ Channel FIVE Documentary

Have you, or someone you know, ever suffered from Postnatal Depression?
Are you still suffering now?

Award-winning company Dragonfly Film & TV, is keen to speak to parents who have suffered from Postnatal Depression for Channel Five’s ‘My Secret Past.’

We are looking for people who would be interested in sharing their experience on our programme.  The aim of the documentary is to raise awareness of the illness and hopefully stop sufferers feeling so isolated.

Previous programmes have included Presenter Kate Thornton on anorexia, Rugby player Gareth Jones on coming out, and former athlete Fatima Whitbread on growing up in care.
